Aamna Samna

PEVAC 2005 was successful enough to generate an awareness and developmental enthusiasm among the communities through field activities, workshops and community interactions and training programmes. The S.S.K was successful to change the framework of the local election issues and objectives, which now incorporated the broader sense of community development and social justices regardless of the petty differences about class, caste, gender and religion. The people were openly admitting the need of secular, honest, politically educated and democratic leadership especially the youth and the backward classes of community are much interested toward their empowerment. The campaign, which was held in 2005, was of stimulative nature, which prepared a background for the free, fare, peaceful and participatory election processes as well as ensuring responsive and accountable leadership in Panchayates. With a successful completion of third panchayates elections S.S.K entrusted into the mid phase of the utter of the panchayates term, which is crucial with regards to the sustainability of the promises, manifestoes, and developmental programme undertaken with the inception of the panchayates term. It’s uncomforting to recognize the fact that many of the above mention promises, manifestoes and developmental programmes in dismal state they are either disfunced or in a lamb administrative and proactive condition. The factors responsible for such a condition are mainly administrative, corruption, redtapeism and uncooperative perception about the government policies programmes from both the sides – people and the leadership.

The Aamna-Samna is hear in revitalisation, sustainability maintenance and successful mediation through democratic processes between the people and the elected representative to move forward in the path of achieving the objective of Panchayati -Raj system.
