Civil Society Strengthening
Program
SSK since its inception is
working with an objective to enhance and build the capacity of
organisations working at grassroots on people centered development.
The idea behind this is to build the capacities of organisations
that are working for the empowerment of people. The major purpose
of Civil Society Building (CSB) interventions is to enhance capacities
of Citizen Collectives, Citizen Leaders, intermediary Civil Society
Organisations (CSOs) and their platforms through trainings and
other capacity building programmes to speed up the process of
social change.
Objectives
- Building
perspectives and skills of development actors working in CSOs.
- Enhancing
organisational efficiency and effectiveness to accelerate the
change process.
- Strengthening
voluntary sector by providing trained manpower.

Providing institutional building and management support to local
CSOs.

Enhancing interaction among development actors so as to build
relation among CSOs for future collaboration and partnership.
