Purpose and Activities
Enhancing education and life skills among the women of marginalized sections of society is imperative for a developing nation like us. Considering this social and ethical responsibility SSK in partnership with Korean National Commission for UNESCO (KNCU) has initiated this programme in the proposed intervention areas – Cholapur and Harahua blocks of Varanasi city.
For a long lasting effect on the targeted community, a cadre of change agents will be developed who would influence change process and create an environment where women and adolescent girls from Muslim and Dalit community would feel empowered to demand for their rights and entitlements and make conscious efforts to have an access to discrimination free benefits.
