SSK’s staff’s participation and representation in National & State
Level Workshops/Meetings

As
a member of the advisory committee of West Bengal Civil Society
Support programme Shri Ashok Singh participated in the meeting
of the committee.
-
National Workshop on District
Agriculture Development Plan
Shri Awanesh Kumar
participated as representative from U.P. on behalf of PRIA; New
Delhi in a two day national level workshop on '' District
Agriculture Scheme '' held on 27 - 28 September 2007. The
workshop, in which principal secretaries of 8 states took part,
was organized by the Planning Commission in Chandigarh. Various
aspects of the District Plan were under discussed. Both PRIA,
New Delhi and Sahbhagi Sikshan Kendra were entrusted with the
work related to preparation of two district plan in U.P.

Senior SSK staff’s
participated in the Advanced TOT (Training of Trainer) on
Participatory Training organized by PRIA New Delhi during
7th Sep to 11th Sep. 2007
at SSK Lucknow.

Mr. Sanjay Singh and Haider
Abbas participated in the National Biannual Review Meeting From
26th to 27th Sep 2007 organized by PRIA at New Delhi.

Ms Minal Manisha participated
and made a presentation on work undertaken by SSK on Flood
Relief Work in Behraiach in First Advocacy workshop on Flood
Relief held in Lucknow. The workshop was jointly organized by
PGVS and GEAG.

Mr Awanesh Kumar and Ms Ritu
Rai participated and shared the findings and process of the
AAMNA –SAMNA workshop in the
PACS
National Level Workshop on 4-5 December 2007.

Mr Sanjay Singh participated
in the annual convention of VANI held on 16- 17 December in
Kolkatta. The theme was – National Policy on Voluntary Sector.

Ms Shalini Chaturvedi
participated in a workshop organized by Vatsalya on 29 December
in Lucknow.

Mr Sanjay Singh participated
in a workshop on Disaster Management, organized by U.P. Academy
of Administration and Management. The role and selection
criteria of Aapada Rahat Mitra was discussed in the workhop.
