SBI Sammaan – Hom(e)age to the National Heroes

This project aims to honor national heroes by carrying out developmental activities in their hometowns through "SBI Sammaan – Hom(e)age to the National Heroes." It pays tribute to their contributions while fostering positive social impact in their communities.

Location: Gehlaur, Gaya Bihar

Supported By: SBI Foundation

About the project:

SBIF has recently initiated a unique program series called “SBI Sammaan – Hom(e)age to

the National Heroes”, with a vision to carry out developmental activities in the native places

of some renowned freedom fighters, war veterans and public heroes. While the word

‘Sammaan’ means honour, the unique spelt ‘Hom(e)age’ symbolises the homage being paid

right in ‘home’ towns of these icons. SBIF has taken up the program implementation in the

villages of some prominent personalities from various parts of the country.

Through ‘SBI Sammaan’, SBIF will not only be reaffirming its commitment for driving positive

impact but will also be paying befitting homage to the national heroes by honouring their

spirit, valor and contribution to the society.
